Dog Mode: a brief stop with a pet
Dog Mode requires working climate control, connectivity and an owner ready to return promptly.
Guide updated 2 Oct 2026 · revision 1
Check conditions
In the verified manual, the mode is called Pet Mode; another well-known name is Dog Mode. It is designed for a brief wait for the pet next to the owner. Make sure that the cabin has a comfortable temperature, the climate is good, and the phone and car have a cellular connection.
Stay connected
Turn on the Park mode and check its condition. The screen shows the temperature to passers-by, but the responsibility remains with the owner. Check your pet’s temperature and condition frequently through the app and return when in doubt. Don’t plan things that will prevent you from returning to your vehicle immediately if conditions change.
Do not wait for an alert
The system notifies the cessation of operation of the climate and temperature changes; Pet Mode is notified at a charge below 20%. This is an excuse to act in advance, not an allowable reserve for a long parking. Camera viewing depends on hardware, app, and communication, so don’t consider it guaranteed.
Keep in mind: The regime is not designed for people; do not leave your child unattended and take into account local rules for keeping animals.
