Practical guide
Precondition the cabin and battery before departure
Set your travel readiness time and check which place and days your schedule is tied to.

Set a departure time
Preparation according to the schedule is designed for the time for which the car should be ready for the trip. The car itself determines the start of work and prepares the cabin and battery. Choose the time of departure, then check the result: frost, heat and duration of parking affect the preparation.
Check location and repeat days
The schedule is maintained for the selected location. The home setting will not necessarily work in the hotel parking lot. In the new place, check the binding and the days of the week. If the weekly repetition is turned off, the task is performed once and then switched off until manually enabled by the owner.
Separate preconditioning from charging
Preparation time and charging window solve different tasks. The presence of a climate schedule in itself does not set the desired charge for departure. Without a connection, preparation consumes battery power and is not available in Low Power Mode. The charging schedule does not apply at fast stations, including the Supercharger.
Keep in mind: Check the actual charge and condition of the car before leaving; the schedule does not replace this check.
