The updated Model 3 selects drive direction on the screen. Early refreshed RWD and Long Range cars gained improved sound insulation and acoustic glazing all around.

Early European Model 3: five seats, a separate boot lid and two steering-column stalks. The main technical dividing line is the introduction of the heat pump.

2019–2020
Early European Model 3: five seats, a separate trunk lid and two steering levers. The key technical reference point is the release before switching to the heat pump.

2021–2023
Updating the former body with a heat pump and dark exterior finish. The steering levers are saved; equipment and battery need to be specified for a particular car.
2023+
An updated Model 3 with a choice of direction on the screen. For early updated RWD/LR confirmed more thorough sound insulation and acoustic glazing in a circle.

2021–2024
Crossover with high rear door and heat pump. The main controls are still familiar Model 3: a screen and two steering levers.

The updated Model Y received a revised suspension and interior. Equipment varies: the rear screen and part of the amenities must be checked by configuration.
